Tony Pass Banjo Rims is proud to announce that a new line of professional quality banjo rims has been added to the lineup of handcrafted rims. The new TPS™ rim was the brainchild of Tony and his long time partner Keebey Schaeffer, and is handmade by them in their shop in Arkansas.

The goal was to produce a high quality professional grade banjo rim using the tried and true Tony Pass design guidelines, while at the same time offering the rim at a distinctly reduced price to the banjo world. The guiding principal in the development was to build a rim of equal quality to the existing rims made by Tony, without sacrificing the performance people have come to expect from a Tony Pass banjo rim.

By developing some new proprietary construction techniques, the new TPS™ rim has exceeded the performance expectations of both Tony and Keebey. The rim is already being used by a number of noted craftsmen and banjo manufacturers.

The new TPS™ rim is available in 11 & 12 inch diameter and can be cut to duplicate virtually any existing banjo rim and fit any tone ring. It is also available for open back banjos as well as the popular Pass Woody rims.

This rim is not available in ThinSkirt™ design or for Stelling banjos.
